It is possible to control the visibility of products on the shopfront. Unlike turning products online and offline, this gives you the option to allow or disallow customers to view and rent products without cancelling future reservations. This feature is useful for uploading inventory in advance and ensuring it cannot be rented by customers until the store is ready.

When viewing the inventory list, a visibility status will display at a glance which products are hidden and which are visible.

How to Change the Visibility of Products

The visibility flag appears as a grey toggle on the Add Product and Edit Product pages.

By default, the product is hidden when creating a new product. It must be manually toggled on for it to be visible on the shopfront. This is only possible when all production information has been entered.

Understading the Visibility Toggle

Each state of the visibility toggle is represented by a different coloured button:

Dark grey circle: the product is hidden. All product information must be entered before the product can be turned visible.

White circle: the product is hidden. Click the toggle to make the product visible.

Green: the product is visible to customers and can be rented.

After making changes to the visibility status of the product, you must click the save button at the bottom of the page.
