Damages


Occasionally your products may be damaged while out with customers. If this happens, you can charge for damages. The amount to be charged is at the store's discretion in accordance with established store policies. However, $500 is the maximum amount that can be charged. Contact support@awayco.com if higher charges are required.

  1. Navigate to the Reservations tab in the Admin app.
  2. Toggle on the 'include finished' filter to ensure you are viewing all bookings.
  3. Click the booking to open the reservation detail page. You can identify the booking by searching for the unique booking code or the customer's email.
  4. Scroll down to the payments section.
  5. In the first text box, write in the amount to be charged.
  6. In the second text box, write a brief description of the charge.
  7. Click the charge customer button.
  8. A pop-up message will read ‘are you sure you wish to make an ad hoc charge?’ Click OK.
  9. The customer will now be charged for the damages. It can take up to two days to process the charges.
